Hello, I own the 1bed ocean front of kauai Marriott.
I bought it 3 years ago and used it for a week 2 years ago,
but I thought it would be difficult to use it this year.
My baby is 12 months old and I already went to Maui for about 9 days last month.
In Korea, there are not many owners of Marriott Vocation Club and Kauai is not that popular.
Mostly Koreans go to Ohau and Big Island a lot.
Is there a way to rent if I don't use a week?
If I rent it out, how much should I rent it out from someone else?
And where should I find out if I want to exchange it somewhere else?
I've been thinking about it for the past few days, and I came here because I thought of a forum.

First thing to do is reserve a week. Thankfully (and unlike many other MVC locations), Kauai is a year round vacation destination so while there are times of higher demand reserving a 'peak' week isn't as critical.

Then I would suggest looking at Redweek. There are other websites people use to rent out their timeshares, but it is still the industry leader and will give you an idea of asking prices. And since you are completely new to this, you may take comfort in some of the higher service/higher price rental options Redweek offers.

Welcome to TUG and thank you for your question.

Since you are international and based on different time zone, I would suggest listing with Redweek Full Service. Currently on sale for $59.99. Many Americans will be afraid of sending a deposit overseas given the worry over scam and no U.S. legal protections once the money is sent.

This eliminates this worry. Redweek will respond to rental queries.

Thank you. I'll try to trade on the site you told me.
