I. I. Late Deposit Policy Change

A few days ago I noticed that my late deposit had changed from me being able to make a reservation 59 days out to 30 days out. I emailed I. I. and this is their response:

Thank you for your message. I'm happy to assist you today.

Our policies have recently changed.

Because the date range is changing in terms of on time deposits so that
on time will now mean weeks deposited any time from 2 years to 31 days
in advance of the check in date the same change will happen with weeks
already deposited into our system.

Instead of the 59 day search option for late deposits the 30 day option
is what we will begin using effective immediately.

We think that once our members see the benefits of being able to deposit
weeks closer to the check in date that members will also recognize that
the opposing balance will mean booking closer to check in.

We appreciate your patience with us as we move forward with these new
changes.


Doesn't seem customer friendly making this change without advance notice or no notice.

This is old news. There is a long thread about it here from when they sent out an email back on June 1st. There was plenty of advanced notice.
