book multiple units for the same week at a resort, say for a family gathering?

I'm thinking of making a second purchase and trying to think of all the benefits (aside from the obvious!), but I don't feel like reading the rules.

4000 points are excellent a friend has over 4300 points with access to 8600+ points in fact. They use it for family/friends, multiple units same weeks or bigger units like 3+ bedrooms. In fact my friends are now adding another 1880 points so almost 10,500 points per year(yes 5 MF's) but it is a huge saving it pays for it self in less that 5 years, they love it and so do I because I get to have some access to the points and they have some access to my points. Works out great.
