I recently was contacted by a guy saying he was from Hyatt and wanted to set up a virtual update with me via zoom. And they would send me a $350 VISA card. I agreed to the presentation and they confirmed via email and said they would send a zoom link. Then I had to cancel as I had to spend the day with a friend having a surgical procedure. I called the number included in the confirming email to reschedule and never heard back. The email came from: reply-fe9212727060077a77-14075_HTML-1372682569-518004430-902@email1.hyattvacationclub.com (that is the email that popped up when I clicked a reply button). But the email in the sender line was: online.marketing@hyattvacationclub.com

When I called the number it was answered Thank you for calling Hyatt Vacation Club - please leave a message.

I was not going to buy anything but sitting home and listening to an update for a couple of hours seems worthwhile for $350. Has anyone heard of this online marketing promotion? I wondered if somehow clicking on their zoom link would allow them to access my computer? Or would they try to get a bank account number from me to "deposit the $350"?

We did it for 35,000 Hyatt points and received the points. It's legit but we got a lot of incorrect info and half truths. Only what is in a contract can be relied on so just be cautious

We also participated in one of these and received the points after some follow up on my part.

Are those World of Hyatt points? The type you get if you're a World of Hyatt member and stay at a Hyatt hotel?

Or some other type of points? I own a Gold week at Hyatt Windward Pointe that gives me 1880 Hyatt and/or Interval International points. So I'm not sure if you have a different type of ownership than mine. Because 35,000 of THOSE points, the types of points I mentioned above, would be incredible!!!

We own Pinion Pointe and Beach House but use World of Hyatt points to supplement. These are WOH. But for example a Studio at Pinion Pointe is 12,000 pts a night so it's a good value

Wow. 35,000 points would give me 4 (almost 5) summertime nights at 8000 points per night at the very swanky Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York (wedding central). That's my favorite place to stay in New York. Quick drive to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens via the Long Island Expressway (at least, to start) as long as it's not rush hours (plural) but, otherwise, easy access to multiple Long Island Railroad stations for a quick, easy trip to and from Manhattan regardless of the hour.

How do I sign up for this update?

Although, as I'm an ebay buyer of my Hyatt Windward Pointe rather than a "developer" buyer, maybe I don't get these updates. :)
