Hyatt Portfolio VOI Program Points ownership w/o deeded property

I am interested in the Hyatt properties and trying to determine if a deeded week or the portfolio VOI ownership would be a better option. I haven't been able to location much information on the portfolio VOI other than when it was initially rolling out in 2017. I am familiar with Westin Flex and assume it is similar. Is the reservation search periods the same as a deeded week? I am assume the annual maintenance fees are slightly higher? Is any of the properties excluded from this type of ownership? I appreciate any feedback you can give.

Deeded portfolio have to many resale restrictions and very high maintenance fees. Deeded at Pinion Pointe are often the best value, but it’s also good practice to buy where you want to go. Stay away from Silver or lower weeks and any 1BR due to poor point/MF ratio. Gold or higher 2BR is were you want to be.
 
The deed week will have the same or lower maintenance fees than portfolio in most cases. Marriot has been subtilizing the maintenance fees, which are the same as a deeded week owner would pay. Most all recommend deeded over points. Lower cost, same trading power, don't believe the sales hype.

Pinion pointe will certainly have lower MF/point ratio than portfolio. Others, especially PR, maybe not.
