Hi y’all. Staying at Westin Nanea and strolled down to KBC to check it out. It was an hour before sunset and very very quiet. Few people in the lobby, the bar, the pool and the beach. It was beautiful out so took a few pictures. Thought we would share. We plan to stay here via DeX or RCI one of these days since we are HGVC members.

I’m not comparing them. I’m absolutely sure you’re right. And I’m not sure when I’ll trade into KBC.

We've stayed there many times. It's hard getting the 2 bedrooms, but the 1 bedrooms are spacious. We've enjoyed all our visits.
KBC looks like it might be my new go to on Maui. The Maui Bay Villas in Kihei are nice but very expensive with pts. I’ve also stayed at the MVC Maui Ocean Club but I think your Westin is probably nicer than the MVC. I would gladly stay at any of them though.

WM Kihei is also an excellent place for Maui, if you have access to that TS system (thru a free WM TS & IF booking super early = 13 months out, as WM system works, unlike HGVC which is 9 months out)... Located across from a nice beach (unlike HGVC MBV)...
I was planning to exchange via DeX into KBC but somehow they did not show any availability in DeX for the time I wanted to go (Jan thru March 2026), even though units were easily available via Hilton.com hotel website.. So, I booked MBV using my HGVC pts; more expensive than Waikoloa but for Maui access, it is what it is.. (WM Kihei wasn't available for my dates & gets booked early & is hard to get via WM system)....

To the OP: This resort is a Hiltion Vaction Club (old Diamond Resort) and not a Hiltion Grand Vacation Club (HGVC) correct ?

You are correct.
That is correct it’s HVC. My way in, since I’m Legacy HGVC and not Max, is via DeX EU or RCI.
