On Princess Cruises the info is on all the electronic billboards near the elevators saying “snap a picture” so you have the info. It is also in the daily “patter” that is distributed to all staterooms.
 
We are on our 1st cruise, and just got to port this morning. I had no idea about the port agent, but thanks to this thread just took a picture of their details from the daily flyer.
