Has anyone watched this yet? I thought it was well done. Although the storyline is fiction, they used real nomads acting as themselves as characters in the movie - nice twist. I also enjoyed the many vistas they filmed of the southwest.

FYI, I just learned it won Best Picture at the Golden Globes.

We watched this last week, and agree it it was very enjoyable.

Using some of the actual nomads to play fictional versions of themselves was an interesting twist.

The whole storyline seemed very believable.

I thought it was a series. If it is just a movie, I will look it up.

Its a movie, available on Hulu, not sure what if any other services offer the movie.

We get Hulu as part of our teen's Spotify subscription. Yes one more streaming subscription (sigh!)

Yes, watched last week. Frances McDormand is great as expected. Kind of looked like a drama documentary at first. David Strathairn, one of my favorites, is also in the movie. I found it fascinating from a “slice of life” perspective.

We watched this last week but I have to be honest - for us, it was just sad and depressing. It was a well done film but we found it so sad.

Don't forget our neighborhood movie theaters! In my area there are mask, spaced seating and cleaning requirements. Best part is that with so many afraid of the theaters, you are virtually alone with the big screen.
Streaming is not the only answer #lovethebigscreen (understand that some are more cautious)

Streaming is the only answer if you live someplace where movie theaters are still closed.

Here in Santa Clara country, CA, today is first day theaters are allowed open with limited capacity. I have not heard how soon any of them will open. Many of the movies are now being produced directly by the streaming services, any may only have a very limited window in the theaters. Warner Brothers is sending all of their 2021 movies straight to HBOMax. Not sure if those will ever be shown outside of streaming.
