How to quote several posts and then reply.

I did a search but could not find how to do this.
I used to click on quote in two or three posts then hit reply on the last one and all three quotes would show.
Now, I hit quote on three posts then reply and only the last quote is in my post.

What an I doing wrong.
I am on safari - website not app and use either an iPhone or iPad to post.

When I click on “insert quotes I get this page.
I did chose the three quotes I wanted.
is there a way to make this page change to date order?

YOu can click and hold on the three horizontal lines and drag to move the posts up or down.

I would think so too.

I am going to see if in can use the remove button to get rid of all the quotes that are in that picture.
I removed 4 and then the button would not work any more. Ugh

I am on an iPad and iPhone. No clicking and dragging ( to my knowledge) as if using a mouse.

Well I just removed 350 quotes/messages with the remove button.no end in sight.

@dioxide45 what do you see when you click on the "insert quote" button? Do you see the posts you just quoted first or do you have to scroll thru hundreds of posts?

I don't have any quoted posts, but I suppose it is possible to have that many if you've clicked the +Quote button a lot and never used the Insert Quotes button. As far as I know, it retains all the posts you've quoted. You'll have to clean them out to be able to just see the ones you quoted recently. When you add one of the quoted posts to a post, it removes it from the list.

Edit to add: You could just add them all to a post and then delete the text that gets entered. That would save time vs. using the delete button on each one.

when i add a post to multi quote (the +quote button) a new button appears down at the bottom next to attach files titled "insert quotes" that allows me to rearrange them or add/remove?

You should be using the reply button if you want to quote a specific post. The +Quote button is adding it to the list of posts you can quote using the Insert Quotes button. Just clicking the +Quote button doesn't add that post to be quoted in yours.

Seems like you can use the Reply button multiple times, I clicked Reply on your post, and then scroll up and:

click reply on the next one up and it gets inserted so they are both included in one post.

If you want more than one post to be quoted, then you do use the +Quote button. You will then see a small popup at the top that indicates the post was added to multi-quote. You can click the +Quote on as many posts as possible and then you use the Insert QUotes button to add them to your reply.
