First off, I am very new to the Timeshare/Residence Club scene so I am definitely still learning how this all works. I recently bought a Biennial VPA Membership through the UVC International/Villa Group that provides me access to the Villa Del Palmar locations as well as the Garza Blanca resorts. I believe I got a good deal but have learned since then that I probably should have bought a membership from a re-seller (all a learning experience) and saved a few bucks.
My question is related to how I can obtain more points in my contract if I find that my current point allocation is not enough for my lifestyle.
Also, as I bought a smaller membership as a first time buyer, I was presented with an upgraded offer (better but costlier) and the representative stated he would give me a price freeze for this upgraded offer. If I were to take advantage of this price freeze upgraded offer, would the money I put towards my initial membership be applied towards this upgraded offer or are they viewed as two different memberships similar to buying another car without trading in the older vehicle.
Thank you for any future help and I appreciate your patience with my rooking knowledge in the subject matter.
