How to get 7k points?

I am going to deposit 154k points to II. I'd like to do 3x28k + 77K. So I am 7k points short. Is there any way I can get it? I also need to pay for transaction so it would be best if I can do everything in one day.

I purchased this contract recently. It came with all 2009 points. But Wyndham would not give me any transaction credit for the year. I thought it is strange. Last year, I purchased in July and still got transaction credit.

If I deposit the points online and pay the fee online, will I be able to call in on the same day and use the credit for the day? I already paid one $59 this year. Don't want to pay another one.

You are depositing with II? I thought Wyndham only deposited with RCI. Any way, with RCI you can buy points from them for $10 per thousand. If it is II then they probably have a similar deal for you.

If your first purchase Wyndham resort is affliated with II, you will only allow to make generic deposit to II. Otherwise, you will only allow to make generic deposit to RCI. You should still be able to make reservation and deposit to some of the independent trading company, but you need to ask them (the independent exchange company) which week/resort they will take.

1. Call VC, Borrow it from next year's point on a 154k trip as long as it is within 90 days (make sure you don't hit the discount one, it will be very hard to calculate). Cancel it, and deposit all cancel point to II. One transcation fee

2. Put all next year's point in credit pool, than you can have it, but you will need to do that same thing (make reservation, than cancel it). One credit pool fee, and 1 transaction fee.

3. Rent from Wyndham at $10 per 1k??. One transaction plus $70.

4. Forget about 1 of the 28k deposit. So you only get 3 deposit instead of 4.

Thanks for the detailed instruction, Jya-Ning. I think I will just go with #3. I already did 3 deposits online today. Hope I will not have to pay another transaction when I call tonight. I will update this thread in case any one else needs to know.

Update

I called Wyndham and purchased the 7k points. I did not have to pay an extra transaction fee since I did deposit online already today. It was an easy call.
