I've seen this mentioned, but tried doing a variety of searches and can't find instructions.
Thx in advance.

This will only prevent you from seeing their posts. It doesn't prevent those users from still seeing your posts. So it really isn't a block, but rather an ignore as the option indicates.

You’re probably right, but I’ve noticed the people I ignore no longer seem to antagonize my every post once I put them on the ignore list

And you will still see that they've posted, just not the content of the post.

It depends. You will see that they've posted if someone replied to them but for their regular posts you won't see any indication of their post other than there is a link at the bottom of the list of posts to show ignored content. You may also see that an ignored poster was the latest post if you are viewing What's New or Watched. For threads started by someone you ignore, you won't see the thread at all except sometimes if it is the newest post in a forum and you are looking at the forum list.

I should have requested instructions to ignore.
It's a minor thing, in the past it never bothered me.
It's about Sightings in II.
At the moment my only available week is a redeposited, 30 day restricted,
originally Marriott week which sees NOTHING.
So it rubs salt into my wound to learn of all the things I can't see.

You can also ignore an entire forum.
