There are bluegreen facebook pages that are mostly advertising to other owners who may be out of points for the year or out of reservations for a specific location because BG limits the number of held reservations in the same area from the same account at one time. Most advertise at a price per point and invite owners to search themselves and then let them know what they would like to book through the rental and pay based on the per point cost. Annual points that are good in any season and have a longer shelf life go for more than saved points and especially saved points about to expire.
Alternatively you can reserve a high demand location and date and because it is difficult to book, perhaps charge a little more. Some owners on those fb pages get annoyed when owners book good stuff in advance and hold for rental vs releasing to others wanting to use points. If you have a specific reservation you can advertise on redweek or Tug marketplace or craigslist etc. It is difficult to simply rent out without a specific reservation to non owners because if you don't book months in advance it is hard to get the more desirable locations and renters either want something hard to get fairly last minute when there is no availability or want off season when there is but want you to rent at a loss because it is off season.
Why has not a HUGE class action lawsuit been filed against timeshare sellers? This is the biggest scam I have ever gotten involved in.
I have paid over $28,000.00 and now find that my timeshare may be less than worthless as I may have to be out realtors fees etc. to just get out of having to pay dews that may get bigger each year forever.
