Wyndham owner since 1999. Hubby and I often travel on our Motorcycle 1 and 2 nite stays work out great. Usually cheaper than a Super8.

We have owned for awhile and at first we tried to stay at different resorts to check them out but now we just go back to where ever is convenient to our travel plans or we book something for our kids and grandkids.

I missed Ocean Walk on my list and we just stayed there at the beginning of May! One of many stays there. I thought I was doing a good job with my list trying to go somewhat geographically around the country to avoid missing any but I still managed to skip right over Ocean Walk.

Owner since 2013. We use our club points for RCI exchanges too (using my MF/1K to calculate lucrativeness) so here's our puny list:

-Angels Camp
-Kona Hawaiian
-Sedona
-Canterbury
-South Shore
-Indio

Approx 5 years of ownership

Glacier Canyon, annually
Galena
Old Town Alexandria
Nashville
Smokey Mtns/Sevierville
Palm Aire
Branson Meadows
LaBelle Maison
Avenue Plaza

Adding North Carolina and one more 2020. Also traded into DVC x2

Bonnet Creek
Ocean Walk
National Harbor
Midtown 45
Glacier Canyon
Great Smokies Lodge
Grand Desert
Sedona
Clearwater
Reunion
Rio Mar
Kingsgate
Santa Barbara

We've also traded into AKV, SSR, and OKW.

The top of the list favorite is Rio Mar. We ended up in a 3 bedroom presidential unit for a week before we boarded a Disney cruise for a week, and then we traded into a 1 bedroom at AKV. It was like 3 Wheel of Fortune vacations rolled into one. lol

We had issues at Grand Desert and Great Smokies Lodge (10pm room ready and 8pm room ready.) Not a big fan of Ocean Walk but that is more of a DAB problem now. There isn't anywhere that we wouldn't return to (well maybe a different Pompano resort.) Kingsgate's decor was over the top Early American (brought back flashbacks to childhood.) BUT, we were there when it was really cold and people were in the outside pool. I said that they must be from Minnesota but in actuality, they were from Canada. lol The water was 88 degrees. I've never seen an outdoor pool hold such a temperature. That was pretty impressive. I'd pay $6/day for that.

Well if I add in Worldmarks
51. Stablewood Springs
52. Marble Falls
53. New Braunfels
54. West Yellowstone
55. St George
56. National Harbour - missed this one
57. Old Town Alexandria - missed this one too

Nashville
Great Smokies
Ocean Walk (Daytona Beach)
Panama City Beach
Bonnet Creek (I think my first Wyndham stay, would have been 2005)
Star Island
Palm-Aire
Lake Lure (NC)
Smugglers Notch
Old Town Alexandria
Dolphins Cove (where I learned that just because there were vacant rooms didn't mean you could book one, we all crammed into a 1 bedroom unit :))
Indio (Palm Springs)
Oceanside
Canterbury (SF)
Bentley Brook
South Shore, Lake Tahoe
Grand Desert
Midtown 45
Long Wharf
Mills House, Charleston
Ocean Ridge, Edisto
Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach
Austin

I have enjoyed making this list. I am humbled and grateful. As a child we vacationed, in our camper, in Florida, every year. I remember walking on the beaches, particularly Daytona Beach and the Miami area, in awe of the condominiums and high-rise apartments. Wishing someday I could stay in one, for just one night.

Who'd a thought.

I think I am at 82, if we count the WM's.

Who'd a thought.

I've read posts here and on Facebook too with people raving about certain resorts like Bonnet Creek for example. I some times read them to my husband and we talk about how spoiled we are after so many years of owning. We've had fun talking about the progression of our vacation accommodations. We started with visiting family who lived in other states. When our finances began to improve we graduated to being able to afford very modest accommodations to go other places. Then came sharing a house with two other families in the Outer Banks for two weeks at the end of May/early June when it was still considered Spring season before the rates took a big jump for Summer season. We entered a whole new world of vacationing when we bought our first points 17 years ago.

What a journey from "who'd a thought", to this is fantastic, and now to this is our norm!

I am stealing this thread topic from the Worldmark Forum, because its really interesting discussion to see, with sooo many very experienced posters and travelers here. But flipping it to Wyndham only for the purposes of this forum.

How many different Wyndham resorts have you stayed at?

Curious to see who has been to the most and how many that total is!

I stayed at my first Wyndham in 2017 and have been to 6 Wyndham resorts in the 2 years since.

This is a good take! When I vacationed with my parents as a child it was more often than not just a trip within our state to an amusement park or a baseball game and a short hotel stay in that area. I enjoyed this trips of course, but compared to the vacationing to multiple other states at nice resorts that my children have experienced because of timeshares its no comparison!
