Question for you Wyndham vets? Where can I find a directory to determine how many points I need to buy to get a certain level of unit, resort, etc.? I have looked on here but haven't found it yet. Probably missed it. I am considering my first purchase, CAREFULLY, and wanted to see some guidance. Thanks, Jeff

This is from the Club Wyndham website. It may give you some of the information you're seeking.

And expect them to change arbitrarily :ROFLMAO:

Just to be clear - while the rules are subject to change - the points charts don't change except under very rare and specific circumstances. As a general rule - the points charts are essentially set in stone.

I made a video on how to find a good Wyndham deed and it includes how many points to own and why

If I don't want to sit through the whole 22 minutes, how many and what is your reasoning?

min for program fee to be $0.64 per thousand = 165/0.64 or 258,000 points

Understandable, but like everything else that program fee is going to slowly creep up, making that a moving target. If it rises to $175/0.65 it would be 269,230. You also don't find contracts that equal those increments (sure, you could get close with a 154,000 and a 105,000 one). About 5 years ago 231,000 was the recommended number to be above the minimum fee.

Part of it also depends on your travel pattern and typical usage. At one point I had over 1,000,000 points, but I've settled in now at 308,000. That's enough for most resorts to get me a prime week in a 2 bedroom with the kids, or two weeks in a 1 bedroom once they are off to college and out of the house in the next couple of years.

Plus Partners program fee for 2022 is $0.68 or a minimum of $190.
Without Plus Partners is $0.66 or a minimum of $170
Presidential Reserve is $0.76 for the first million points

170/0.66 is still about 258K.
