How long for response to recission request

The Villa Group
Sent email to rescind The Villa Group within recission period. Haven’t heard anything back in 2 days. Sent registered letters today still within recission. How long do they have to respond?

I don't think we ever got anything other than a call asking why and would we reconsider. This call came from a sales leader. I liked the call because it confirmed their receipt of the recission. The only official answer we ever got was the refund of our credit card payment.

You might NEVER hear anything. Especially with a Mexican resort. Even in the US, sellers are not required to even acknowledge a rescission letter. They ARE required to process it. With Mexico, who knows? Their legal system is different than ours. Just watch your credit card (or bank) account to see a refund. That may be the only way you'll know for sure.

This is why I ONLY RENT in Mexico.

Does the Villa contract you have state that a rescind by e-mail is allowed ?
{Vidanda in Mexico does allow .}

There is no requirement that they acknowledge it .
If you have followed the procedures as stated in the contract & within the 5 day timeline - you will receive a refund.
