How far in advance do resorts start showing

In general, how far in advance do resorts start showing up in II and RCI? Is it generally about a year out? I've noticed on the sightings, that sometimes you get lucky and see stuff well in advance, but that seems to be bulk bankings.


I have searches in place in both RCI and II for late 2009 and early 2010. Just curious. To date, I've had great luck in both systems, but never this far out.

The general feeling is RCI seems to get more availablity earlier. So make request with RCI more than a year out. With II, 12 months to 10 months out.
