How does sales know if you bought direct or resale?

We have two Wyndham Access resales. One bought in 2023 and the second one in 2024. Whenever we go to an "owners update", sales is always confused as to how we came into the system. Are their records that bad, or are they trying to confirm with us that we did indeed buy resale? What are your thoughts? Do they know or not?

It depends how much research they do before they meet with you. Sales can definitly see you are 100% resale. Not all of them look that closely and skim over that fact. We were told at Grand Desert the reason no salesperson would take us on was because we were at the bottom of the pile as 100% resale. The sales manager came in to give us a scolding about signing up for a tour and then sent us on our way. It was easy peasy and we'll do it again if given the chance!

Lol. I'm sure the sales manager will be surprised that his scolding didn't work and you show up again.
