How does RCI work?

Hi Madge:

I am a fairly new RCI member and I quess I don't understand how things work at RCI. As of today, Worldmark Grand Lake, ID#7547 has several 1, 2, and 3 br units for rent from 6/2/06 to 6/9/06 listed on Extra Vacations. The weekly rate ranges from $569.99 to $636.49.

However, there is nothing listed under Last Call or RCI Weeks during that time period. In fact I checked under RCI Weeks for the next 12 months and it always shows nothing available at any time. Does Worldmark Grandlake do any exchanging or are they just a rental only timeshare? It appears they have plenty to rent but nothing to exchange. Please help me understand how things work. Thanks.

Some of the inventory we have received from Worldmark Grand Lake was provided for Extra Vacations specifically. However, there are many units that are part of the exchange program. Availability is currently best in Sept/Oct 2006 and Jan/Feb/Mar 2007.
