Has anyone used Hotels.com or any other such booking site to book a timeshare (or rental condo)? I see some pretty good places offered (even some nice Wyndham Timeshares in Hawaii) on their booking site and they don’t seem to have all the added fees that VRBO or AirBnB charge.

We have when we needed an extra day. I know many TS companies advertise via multiple sites.

Many years ago (I'm thinking maybe 2007), when I only owned Wyndham points...and before I learned the ins and outs of RCI/II... I booked a vacation package (airfare and accommodations at Island Seas Resort in Freeport Bahamas) thru Hotels.com. Later I learned that I could have paid less. Lived and learned... not saying that those packages aren't a good deal in some cases, but now I'm better informed and have more options.

The Timeshares (not airfare or any kind of package) I’m looking into on Hotels.com cost less than it would for me to use (too many) TPUs + exchange fee + combine fee, etc. etc. etc.

I’m just curious how many timeshare owners save their points when its more expensive with RCI or any other timeshare specific site and use a online travel site like Hotels.com. And if you’ve had any hidden issues with the booking (extra fees, reservation problems). I use them frequently for hotel bookings but never realized how many Timeshare’s they offer.
