Hey there everyone! I'm looking to surrender my timeshare that I can't use anymore. I'm not looking to make a profit... I will pay the transfer fee.

• Exchange Program eligible

Most timeshares are worth little or nothing. You'll have a far better chance of unloading this if you pay the deed transfer fee.

Also, be sure your loan is 100% paid off if you want to have any hope of giving this away.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm doing. According to the company, the deed transfer fee is $99-$199. It's paid for in full, only the typical bi-annual maintenance fee now.

This is what they mean for you to also pay the deed transfer fee. If you search through the free timeshare you will find numerous listings where the transfer fee is also covered especially when it is not a top tier TS. You can also research as well as list on redweek and ebay to gauge what a similar TS has sold for. GL

Just since nobody else asked, what is the maintenance fee? Do you know what trading programs it's eligible for and for how many TPU or points?

Hey there, sorry for the late response ... had to do some travel for work.

Maintenance fee is bi-annual: $1,443.
As for trading programs, I'm not sure which, but I currently use Diamond Resorts and I believe Interval is available as well. Through DR, I have 5,000 points per year.
