Here at the resort now if I can answer any questions. Will write a review when we return!

Have they by any chance installed air conditioning? We stayed there several years ago and loved it, but it got really hot in our room!!

No air

We are in the building in the back of the lodge- one bedroom one bath. No air but didn't need it this week. .It has been cold in the evenings and morning and comfortable during the day. In fact I was wishing I had gloves when hiking the past 2 days! They did/ are making some updates to the units. In this one there is new cabinets, carpet, tv. The tile looks new in the bathroom and kitchen area. They are going to remove the wall paper and new sleeper sofas are on the way. The one bedroom is SMALL- can't imagine having more then 2 people in here. It is comfortable. It has the smallest dorm type fridge I have ever seen. That has been a pain because we do like to eat in most of the time.

How did you enjoy Montana and Meadow Lake? Park City? I'd love to hear your thoughts about the various states you have visited and the resorts where you have stayed. I hope you are enjoying Estes Park. It's really beautiful there.

Steve

Fantastic time

We had a fantastic time at both places. In Montana we spent several days at Glacier National Park and in Park City rode the bikes and did some trail running. That got us ready for the hiking at 9000-12000 feet in elevation in Rocky Mt National Park! Not too bad for people that live at 3 feet of elevation! Hit 10,000 miles in the car yesterday since we left Florida May 8th! We also spent one week at Disney, one week in Boston and one in NYC (7 timeshare trades in total) We really love the West and are looking forward to taking a trip back.

Is it convenient to drive from Meadow Lake resort to Glacier National Park? How long it takes? If we want to hike in the park a lot, would it be enough time to do long hiking? Thanks!

West entrance

This resort is about 16 miles from the West entrance and 75 miles from the East entrance. You will have to look at a map and see what hikes you want to do. There are going to be more open now then when we were there. Lots of hikes were closed or cut short because of snow. Make sure you have your bear spray with you!!!
