Rather than hijacking the recent thread with so many TUG folks familiar with the resort (https://tugbbs.com/forums/threads/big-island-at-hilton-kohala-and-bay-club-recommendations.349511/) I have a pizza question: any recommendations?

I have a serious Friday night pizza habit and the one pizza I have had on the island (Kona Brewing Co. for inquiring minds) was really not very good. Am spoiled living in San Francisco and would rather skip it unless there is something in the village that others who like pizza worth eating. Plenty to eat here instead.

Refrigerated one that you'll bring from Safeway.

Tropics Ale House - we hit that place every time we are in Waikoloa at least twice.

I'm surprised you didn't like the Kona Brewery pizza, then again maybe it was the pitcher of beer we washed it down with that made it taste so good!

Lately it's been Mod pizza or Round Table for us.

The pizza and sliders there are not bad. And well-priced during Happy Hour.

Cheers.
