ANyone been to it lately? Reviews on TUG (and elsewhere) seem to be all over the place. I stayed there YEARS ago when it was Embassy SuitesVacation Club and thought it was "ok".

Hi Barbara. Hilton Vacation Club now owns the resort, our family has been going there for the past 2 falls/winters. There have been upgrades to the villas from what I have been told and can see, I believe they are continuing to upgrade/refresh through 2025. It's a great resort near the lake with restaurants and Whole Foods Market within walking distance. Heavenly Ski Resort is just a few minutes drive up the street. There is great shopping and restaurants at Heavenly Village. I would recommend going if you have the chance.

Thank you. We normally stay at the Marriott Timber Lodge...which seems to be centrally located (restaurants, shops, gondola, etc). The reviews for the Lake Tahoe Resort are confusing on line. Thank you. We have a chance to "trade in" and just might do it!

10 million refresh completed as of October 2024. Rooms and pool redone. Ask for a view of the lake. About 1000 feet away.

Good to know, I am staying there in April - Got a good deal from the II Getaways. I am not expecting it to be as nice as MVC, but I am hoping it is better than a hotel.

The thing that turned me off a bit was the parking. They parked the cars about a block away and when you wanted your car a valet had to run up the street. There was a little parking around the units but it was overly limited. I remember that there was a daily parking fee.

But it is in a nice location on Ski Run blvd. Very few units had a lake view.
