Resorts Owned
DVC at Hilton Head, The Colonies at Williamsburg, and The Grandview at Las Vegas
Traveling in Japan and a bit interested in this HGVC location. Curious if it’s less expensive to own here, or if not, is it easy to trade into here. Thanks.

I have stayed there before- awesome accommodations, great breakfast buffet, but…it’s definitely far from other locations you’ll likely want to visit. Tokyo to Kyoto- it’s lots of time on the Shinkansen…and at 10pm or 10:45, I forget which, the courtesy bus from Hilton stops running from the train station you’d take to get to the resort after sightseeing. And walking it isn’t really a realistic option that time of night.

I’d say, in general- it added 90+ mins to our journey each way - when we were trying to get to other cities in Japan; ate up a lot of sight seeing time.

But, really great spot- just know before you go.

Never see a resale deed on the market.

Yeah a bit far. Did you trade into it through HGVC? I am at Hilton Tokyo Bay and they have a sales office for this. Don’t want to be in a presentation in Japanese. Lol.

I don't own specifically there, but I just used my normal points for it. I'd like to try Tokyo Bay though! And I didn't have to do any sort of presentation.

You mean Hilton Honors points, or HGVC club points?

My guess is that most of the units are owned by people in Japan. These are all pretty new resorts, and any resales are most likely to show up on Japan-centric resale platforms.
