HGVC Recinded 2022 contract and just sent me a bill for maintenance fees from original contract

2022 We agreed to timeshare offer for Tuscany in Florida every other year. Our original 2 resorts were traded in and we paid $14000 for the new contact.
Septemberd 2024 we received a phone call telling us the offer could not be continued due to an internal contract issue with one of our resorts. We were told our contract with HGVC would return to the first contracts for 2 resorts purchased many years ago. Today I got a maintenance fee for one of the resorats. We have not received anything in writing and now have no idea how any of this is supposed to work nor did we agree to the changes. Seems about a bad as timeshare ownsership can get. Never any issues up to this disaster.

They’re past their recession period.

If they give buyers only a few days to change their mind, why should they be given the opportunity to change their mind two years later. This is on them.

Just another of the many reasons not to buy from the developer.

Something is not right, they should have notified you by mail, not a phone call.
