HGVC Maui Bay Villas lists standard 2BR, 2 BR Plus, 2BR Premier, as well as Penthouse variations for each. They look almost identical other than the TV Mirror in the Premier bathroom. Does anyone know the differences between Standard, Plus and Premier?

I haven't been there yet but I think it's like King's Land, STD is first floor, Plus second floor, Premier is top floor. Some Premier units may be units on first floor with no units above, at least at KL.

From our walk around the resort, the buildings are all three or four stories. I don't think there were any ground floor units without units above them.

Building 1/2/3 are 2 story buildings with a single floor at the leaward side. a 3 BR & a 1 BR - building 1 has not been built and will sit in front of the lobby.

The wife and I stayed at MBV in February this year in a 1 BR Plus unit. It was ground unit in Building 2. No idea if they do the same with the 2 BR or not. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with the room. I would have considered it a standard room, not a plus. If you step onto the patio you can see just a little bit of ocean, otherwise it was looking across to another building.

We are headed to MBV next week. We have 2 Bedroom Penthouse Premier (2PX) so I gather that is top floor. Which building is the best? Building 4? Will we have an Ocean View?

WE had a 2PH in building three earlier this year. The unit and view were nice enough, probably as close to the ocean as possible. I liked the unit; my biggest complaint was road noise from trucks with mud tires on the road, as well as some sort of squeal from a ventilation unit on the roof of the beach club. Building 4 is obviously much closer to the pool,, which would be nice.

Yeah Building 2 & 3 are right on that busy road. Maybe Building 4 or 6 are the way to go with a request.
