HGVC Inclusive Reservation Fee?

From what I understand that the $197 inclusive reservation fee includes the $90 for annual club dues? Is this correct?

That means one is really paying $107 for the unlimited HGVC reservation fee?

Do you all think this worth it? It sounds like if one books more than two HGVC reservations a year (which I probably will) they are getting their money's worth?

I am just trying to see if I understand this correctly.

Thank you!

Let me take this one step further. Let's say your first purchase of a points package was direct through HGVC (I know, bad move). You then decide to increase your points through resale purchase at either HGVC resorts or affiliates you don't particularly care to vacation at (provided of course, the math works out). Could you then opt for the all inclusive fee, and then would all of your club/open reservations (including those applicable to the subsequently-resale purchased points) be included in the all inclusive fee? If so, over the years that could be a substantial savings.

Also, do RCI reservations get included in the all inclusive fee?

Thanks.

From the letter that came with the 2008 HGVC Guidebook
"Please be aware that an inclusive payment option is offered to cover annual Club Dues and unlimited Home Resort and Club Reservation fees. This option eliminates the need to pay separate fees with each of these transactions, a convenience many Club Members have requested in recent months"

From the Club Rules on page 171
"Not included in this inclusive payment option are all other fees listed on the Club Fee Schedule, including ClubPoint Stretching, ClubPartner Perks, participating Hilton Family Hotel reservations, RCI Fees, and Open Season Rentals"

The inclusive reservation fee replaces the Annual Club Dues. You can replace each Annual Club Dues with the New Inclusive Payment Option.

I don't know under what circumstances someone would have multiple Annual Club Dues.

I own two weeks. Both weeks are combined under one HGVC membership # therefore I make one Annual Club Dues payment today which can be replaced with the New Inclusive Payment Option.

I hope this helps
