Noticed the announcement on HGVC just now. Looks like 7 month window is live based on a brief check. The following BlueGreen resorts are supposed to be bookable, but I haven't checked them as I can't squeeze anything in for the next 7 months anyway. Happy to check if there are any questions.

step in the right direction at least! hopefully its just the beginning!

I clicked on Destinations, then United States, then Wisconsin. I got five pages of resorts. When you click on a resort listed you get more information, but when you try to see the points chart it does not work yet. Lots to choose from.

Can only see availability 7 months out so February 2026 currently. Not sure how to see the chart.

Thanks @zentraveler. When I look at the point requirements to book, they look similar to even higher than HGVC point requirements. Now, it is certainly hard for me to compare because I know nothing about any of the BG resorts. But here is the question which I have, If BG resorts are of a lower quality/value than HVC/DRI and HVC/DRI is a lower qualify/value than HGVC, then why should the point booking requirements be equal in all 3 systems?

Now, it is certainly hard for me to compare because I know nothing about any of the BG resorts...

My one data point by hearsay is that as part of the discussion of upcoming MVC City Collection resorts in Charleston and Savannah people have spoken of the BG resorts in those cities as being two of the nicest in the BG system. Tripadvisor seems to confirm this and so the price of Alley Inn 1BRs compared to those at Liberty Place seems....I don't know if I'd say 'reasonable' but not outside the realm of possibility.

We *love* Liberty Place and I can't imagine booking Alley Inn if Liberty Place were available...but I can see someone doing so if that were their only HGV option.

I have never booked outside of Hilton Grand Vacation properties yet so I cannot compare quality. I do know the the HGV/DRI are often much cheaper in points for the same season as HGVC and often have substantial deals.

I have also heard that BG owners will have a reduced point value when booking into HGVC properties. Not sure if this was just rumor or not but I would think if this were the case that a HGVC Max person would have a point boost to book into HGV/BG and I am not seeing that when I attempt to go through the motions of booking.

Just for kicks and giggles here is the only comparable resort I could find that had availability. It would appear BG is thought to be better than HGVC in this example of the Blake VS HGVC Chicago same 4 nights.

No actual knowledge, but Tripadvisor likes the Hotel Blake better than the HGVC Chicago better than the Doubletree the HGVC is part of (though not by much). It seems to be a reasonably nice hotel comparable to one of the better urban Hilton (hotels) though not anywhere near as nice as a Conrad. I wonder if BG has dedicated rooms/floors or if they just have an agreement with the Blake.

Yeah, Hotel Blake is off of Michigan Ave while The Doubletree is a couple of blocks away. By reputation, Hotel Blake is a more luxurious hotel.

My one data point by heresy is that as part of the discussion of upcoming MVC City Collection resorts in Charleston and Savannah people have spoken of the BG resorts in those cities as being two of the nicest in the BG system. I, for at least one, would not consider that to be heresy….

Yes, I guess I was more impressed that the hotel standard room was more points at the Blake than the magnificent mile 1-bed.
