Hello new member here. I just signed a contract with Hilton to buy HGV Max points. As part of the financing, I agreed to transfer my Diamond deed. I'm having second thoughts and am reviewing the contract in detail. The deed transfer is a separate signed statement although it does state old contract number (Diamond ) to new contract number (Hilton).
My question is if I cancel the Hilton contract within the recission period does that also cancel the deed transfer?

If you cancel, and you should, everything goes back to the way it was before the deal. So the deed transfer is cancelled also.

Don't have any second thoughts -- just go ahead and cancel it while you legally still can.

You can always go back and get the same offer at another time, but you will likely find you won't want to and thank yourself for rescinding.

Thanks for the quick response. I've got the letter written based on a Google template. I added a line stating I also wanted to cancel my deed transfer and refund of the $20,000 charge. Couldn't wrap my head around what extra I was getting other than the Hilton resorts. I still have access to DEX

Good for you in finding TUG and saving yourself $20K. The letter didnt need to be anything fancy, as long as whoever signed the purchase agreement also signs the cancellation request. Look in your paperwork (usually near the signatures page) and send it exactly how they specify, to the address listed in there. Failure to follow their instructions may give them an excuse not to honour the cancellation request. When you mail it make sure to get a receipt of mailing receipt as it is that date that counts, not when they get it.

Thanks again to everyone for responding quickly during my 10 day grace period. The letter will go out today.

congrats on finding TUG in time to save yourself thousands! we hope you have some amazing vacations over the next 10 to 20 years with that saved money!

(also hope you look into just buying into HGVC on the resale market which will get you access to those HGVC resorts, at pennies on the dollar for what you were going to pay for HGVMAX.
