I am so sorry, but can someone please help me on how to add my Bonvoy number to my reservation? I am not even sure where the reservation number shows up on my exchange anymore paper anymore .Must be my advanced age and memory issues

As far as I know they no longer will populate your Bonvoy number on your exchanged reservation prior to check in. I myself have tried it but to no avail and I had to do it upon check in.

Your memory is just fine; it's Marriott that has changed.

Is this based on recent experience? I recall adding my number to multiple reservations as recently as September via the Bonvoy app.

The number should still appear in the email confirmation from II under the Unit Details. There were issues when II first changed over to the new email confirmations where the Marriott confirmation number wasn't appearing in the email. I understand that they have fixed the issue. If the Reservation Number isn't in the email, you can contact II and ask them for it. I have had issues adding the Bonvoy number on the website as it seems to produce an error message when looking up the reservation. I find it much easier to add via the Bonvoy mobile app.

I would say it's been about six months or so since I have tried myself. I'm glad to hear that they have fixed the issue.

Maybe @mav will post again and let us know how he/she makes out.

I just now (moments ago) exchanged for a 3 bedroom at Surfwatch for a little ocean visit during my daughter's J-term. Based on this thread, I tried to add through the Bonvoy app, using the "Find a Reservation" function, and I got "Need some help? Please call Customer Care." Is it worth my time to make that call sometime this week?

You need to wait a few days for the reservation to be updated with your name with Marriott before you can attempt to look it up online or via the app.

Now that you say it, I think I’ve run into this before, lol! thanks! Also, I couldn’t find the room code on the newly-redesigned II confirmation (at least, it’s new to me.) is it still included? I know it’s not guaranteed.

The Unit Number (room code) has never appeared on the confirmation email or the old PDF. It is only available on the II website in your History.
