Help picking Las Vegas resort (RCI)

We like the Tropicana. The pool and lazy river are heated. The hot tub is huge. The rooms are spacious. If you can get a RCI extra vacation deal for cash it might be a better price than using points plus paying the exchange fee.
Tropicana doesn't have a lazy river, that's at Worldmark Blvd. Tropicana has a smaller pool and hot tub. Property map below. There are 3 Wyndham buildings, all the rest are Worldmark. 2 Wyndham bldgs are right at Tropicana Ave, one on the inside, 16 if I remember correctly which is where we stayed.
Call a couple weeks before your stay and request to not be at Tropicana Ave as is very noisy from traffic.
Be aware that all first floor units are below ground a few steps down. So if you're on your first floor patio, you see nothing but the wall in front of you. Top floor, 3rd, always best and quiet, no elevators so you need to be able to walk up. Worldmark charges for internet, whereas Wyndham does not.

My bad. I got the WM's mixed up. We have been to all of the Vegas WM's. The Tropicana had the smallest one bed unit out of the three WM's in Vegas, imo. The pool area was small too.

OK - so I have not booked yet (waiting a couple of days to get to 30 days out to see if prices go down and there are still several available) - this one just popped up now as available for the week we are looking at.

We're going to be in Vegas for a week in December and using up some RCI points. We have a few options and I'm wondering if anyone has input. We don't need to be on/near the strip. We will rent a car and likely go to the strip a couple of days but don't mind parking somewhere for the day and just waking from there. It will just be my husband and I. We will probably take some daytrips to Red Rock, Hoover Dam, etc. as well, and just explore the area.
  • Cancun Las Vegas Hilton Vacation Club
  • Club Wyndham Desert Rose
  • Desert Retreat, Hilton Vacation Club
  • The Grandview at Las Vegas
  • Worldmark Las Vegas, Spencer Street
  • Worldmark Tropicana
I would love any suggestions anyone has based on their experience!

Thanks!

Was Wyndham desert blue not an option?
Best resort over all those IMO.

Haven't been to Cancun bc I don't like resort fees.
Desert rose - no. Bad parking and no wd in room.
Haven't stayed at desert retreat but could be a good location for hiking.
Grandview is an average option in winter. Better in summer. Solid option.
Like Spencer. Good location. Nice rooms. Pool and hot tub seemed under maintained on last visit. It's a small cozy complex if you like that.
Tropicana rooms are nice. We stayed last winter so again no pools, maybe better summer option.

We stayed during COVID. Assuming cleanliness is better now it's a good option. Id book it. I think they charge resort fees so be prepared for that.
