Help needed with rules for combining new resale into existing resale at time of purchase

I've seen some any different answers in different places so I'm hoping for guidance based upon my fellow owners' actual experience.

I have a 10K credit June anniversary resale and I'm looking at buying a second 10K credit resale to combine into my existing resale...I'm not interested in keeping them as separate ownerships. I would like to keep my June anniversary date for the combined ownership.

Right now I'm seeing options to buy with anniversary dates between August and January, any of which I'm guessing could affect the questions below...

- Can they do this combination in conjunction with the sales transfer process (i.e. not pay a second $299 fee)?
- Would the ability to do it at that time depend upon the anniversary month of the new resale?
- How would doing this at the time of sales transfer affect the timing of my access to my existing credits or new resale credits and the adding of new credits on their anniversary?
- If I can't do it at the time of sale transfer, how would doing it after transfer affect my credits (same as above)?
