Help! LHVC Tropical Peurto Plata membership … big big rip off!

We were there on purchased certificates (I think with RCI travel) with another couple and our hotel room at the Tropical was disgusting! I immediately requested a move and of course they were complying but a “junior suite” wasn’t quite ready. We did a presentation full of BS and the end result was $$$ to upgrade rooms, get VIP status, unlimited use of a junior suite and a whole bunch of other stuff…. Our guests were leaving after one week so we arranged to close the deal after they had gone. We returned on day 6, planning to cancel the deal but were told the buyers remorse was only 3 days. It was our fault that we decided to wait until our guests left! Funny they never told us this to begin with … we’ve always had 10 days to think about things! Now we are stuck with a membership we will never use, membership with InTravel and WinWin that we will never use, and no way to unload it as far as I know. Does anyone have info on how we can transfer, sell, or rent out what we have? We’ve owned for many years but Lifestyles in Peurto Plata was the absolute worst we have seen! Their booking system is horrible and I don’t even want to try! Any suggestions would be welcome - gotta try to recoup some expense on this one. RCI banking is possible. Thanks.
