Good Morning - we have traded and received 2 one bedroom units at KBC. One unit is ZZBP - dedicated one bedroom. The other is OVTM - one bedroom portion of a two bedroom. What would be the difference between the two? Is one bigger, better?
We really wanted Ocean Front ( doesn't everyone). What are the chances these rooms will have an ocean view? Should I refuse them and wait for Ocean Front?
These units are for July 2015.
Thanks

Even if your room code is oceanfront you arent guarranteed that particular room. Using II your room location view is never guarranteed. Generally exchanges will be last in the order of location requests with the resort controlling your unit location.

1 Bedroom Ocean View

It has been my experience that all the oceanview villas that we have had (in the Kahili and Nounou wings) always had some view of the pool and onward to the bay, with the better ones depending on how high the floor is where your room is located. The main differences between the dedicated 1 bedroom and the lockoff 1 bedroom are number of bathrooms and size. The dedicated 1 bedroom has 2 bathrooms, whereas the lockoff has only 1 bathroom; also because the dedicated 1 bedroom has that additional bathroom, the living space in the living/kitchen area is smaller in the dedicated villa. I hope this helps.

Just returned, we had stayed in both the 1 br 2 bath and the 1 br 1 bath while we were there. Both were oceanfront. I got the impression from those at the front desk that most of those particular units were oceanfront?

Both units were terrific. The kitchenette was small, but efficient. No stove top
or oven, well stocked.

You should give them a call and inquire. They were extremely helpful and
courteous.

If you have any questions regarding the resort, let me know. It is fresh in my mind.

KBC - Studio Trade for Lockoff MKO

We locked off our villa at MKO and received a confirmation from II but the "Studio or Hotel Type" says max occupancy is 2. Are there never any fold out couches or rollaway beds. II says the unit just has a king size bed, no couch or anything else.

Any suggestions? We have out 18 year old with us.

Thanks

KBC studio & rollaway beds

VictorB, my Marriott.com reservation for a Studio shows 1 King Bed and that 1 rollaway bed is permitted.

At MKO in a studio you will have a bed and a sofa sleeper. I am pretty sure occupancy for studio is 4 at MKO. Check out the interval Internantional resort page for MKO.

I own a 2 br. 2 ba. unit. The studio will have either a king or two double beds. The studios do not have a sofabed. Years ago they did. You may be able to have a roll away brought in. Call and Marriott ask.
