So 3 months ago I asked for and was given advice here on how to sell/dispose of my fixed week 33 at Harborside. i did, as advised by many, work with one of the trusted realtor groups. (Can't remember the group at the moment, but they were at the top of the list) They were successful in renting my 2016 week but no sales interest. We have discussed liquidation and the realtor, Karl Broderson, told me that one of the liquidation groups they work with won't touch Harborside and the other would cost between $3500-4500, mainly due to the high cost of Bahamian lawyers. He also said that this process needs to be started no later than August before next year's maintenance fees are due. I have also been working with the Starwood/Vistana 'recommended' realtor, Timeshare King who also charges nothing up front, but has seen no sales interest. I have been in touch with Donate for a Cause, which I know doesn't really get you a charitable deduction but may provide with a way to dispose. And finally, I keep getting calls from SellMyTimeshare who insist they can get the job done even though I made it clear that I don't want to put out money up front.
