HELP--can't get on craigslist-- HTTP 403 forbidden ??

Out of nowhere I am unable to access my craigslist account.

Click on info. says "HTTP 403 forbidden means that internet explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage."

I'm at VV@Parkway in Kissimmee on their WIFI. Never had this and never broken any rules.

What can I do ?


Anyone have a more clear answer to the problem ?

Try a different browser like Chrome or foxfire?

Can you try https instead? Maybe the redirect isn't working.

Just add an s to e end of http in the address bar and try again.

Someone else with the problem had success after resetting their router.

I'm at VV@Parkway in Kissimmee on their WIFI.

This might be your problem. The resort's IP may have been banned due to abuse by someone who has used it in the past.

Now I'm getting "Problem with websites security certificate".


I'll try deleting from my favorites list and start from scratch.

Shutting down and heading for boat in DeLand. Will see if problem exists with different WIFI.

No problem once I got home. It was the wifi at VV@Parkway in Kiss.

I have had that same message occasionally at home. I simply close the window and it usually goes away.

try using google to bring up the general craigslist site and use that link.

sometimes, your browser may be malforming the request. Usually due to some crap-ware you've installed by mistake.

Another alternative: try searchtempest (google it)
It's a great way to search CL ads.
