"Hello HOTELS" Speculation Thread [MERGED]

The sizzle is in the marketing and posters. The salespeople don't have a clue and can show you nothing.

For ~2 years MVC has been saying you will be able to book many more Marriott hotels using club points at better prices that the few currently available for an exorbitant amount of club points. Supposedly 2025 MVW shareholder meeting said this was coming soon, but I could not find it…

However, this past Monday June 17, 2025, in a call to Owner Services (NOT sales), they confirmed it’s coming but details (hotels included and club points exchange rates) are not yet out. If/when? it rolls out, I guess we’ll have to research each property individually to see if it is a good deal…

They knew enuf to tell me the program would not be available for use with VSN staroptions, tho… (I was calling to double-check my in-laws options for using expiring bonus staroptions…)

We were told in April at a presentation that it will start around 150 Abound points per night (for like a Fairfield Inn) and will be dynamic pricing, like with bonvoy points. There is also a recent post on this thread with a poster from Europe really pushing this as a marketing ploy.
