The number of countries in the Caribbean can vary depending on how one defines the region. However, there are typically around 13 to 14 sovereign island nations in the Caribbean, along with several dependent territories and overseas regions. Some of the independent Caribbean countries include:

  3. Barbados
  4. Cuba
  5. Dominica
  6. Dominican Republic
  7. Grenada
  8. Haiti
  9. Jamaica
  10. Saint Kitts and Nevis
  11. Saint Lucia
  12. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
  13. Trinidad and Tobago

Additionally, there are numerous smaller islands and territories in the Caribbean that are governed by other countries, such as the United Kingdom, France, and the Netherlands.
