Does Hawaiian Air charge a per bag fee when you check in with the skycaps at SeaTac Airport? I was suprised Alaska Airlines now charges this fee. Thanks

Which fee is that? I've only ever paid Skycaps a tip per-bag. Never paid any sort of airline per-bag charge.

I think a lot of airports have started charging a per bag fee when checking at the curb. I don't think it's specific to the airlines, but to the airport. I know Oakland does.

I noticed just this past week that ST. Louis now has a $2/bag fee for curbside checkin. Don't know when they started that, but it hasn't always been so.

Since I am now back from my trip I have the following information. From SeaTac airport Hawaiian airlines did not charge $2 per bag to check in with the SkyCaps however they did charge $2 per bag at the Honolulu airport for SkyCap check in on our return home to Seattle.
