Have you checked the email address on your RCI account recently?

Yesterday I made my home resort reservation on my RCI points account. I was a little surprised that I didn't receive a confirmation email. But, I was busy and had a function to attend in the evening.

I was surprised by a friend at the function when he asked me why I made a resort reservation for him in Florida. He showed me the email on his phone from RCI confirming my home resort. I've made reservations for him a few times in the past and always added a guest certificate.

I contacted RCI this morning about it. They checked and said the confirmation went to the email address in my profile. It was my friend's email address and his phone number! I never made that change. My friend has no idea what my RCI login ID is or my password. I can only guess that in one of their updates it got changed.

Hi @rboesl
Thank you for posting this RCI issue.
A similar thread about the same issue was posted in the Wyndham Forum yesterday evening by @chapjim

It could be a big issue given the size of the user base.

IT Ticket Cleared (Sort Of

Back in May, I opened a ticket because I was unable to edit information on my Owner Profile to correct erroneous information that had appeared. When clicked on Edit Personal Information, I got endless spinning.

So, now I click on Edit Personal Information and the info screen opens and I am e to put new information in the boxes. But, when I save the edited information, it goes the Personal Information screen and the same information that was there before. The only change that stuck was adding a home phone number, which had mysteriously disappeared.

Meanwhile, sometime in the last day or two, Wyndham moved me from Virginia to West Virginia. Street address and ZIP are correct, but the state is wrong. Can't change that, nor can I change the email address, which some months ago mysteriously changed from my wife's email address to mine.

It shouldn't be that hard!

I once had an item shipped to a different address than mine.
Somehow, the new address ended up as being the default.
It took some persistence, but eventually, I was able to delete it.

I don’t need to. RCI sends me plenty of emails, regarding both my account and my brother’s, because after however many years, they still don’t understand the separation of my dad’s previous ownerships.

Let's see...we have two RCI accounts with Wyndham (two separate VIP accounts), one RCI Points account, two weeks accounts, and of course our WorldMark RCI account and our Shell RCI account. Yeah, I need to spend some time doing that.
