Has anyone rented from Dan Hamm (Orange Lake Resort)?

I'm currently in the process of renting a timeshare at Orange Lake Resort from Dan Hamm.

I have spoken with him over the phone and have already called the resort directly with the reservation number he provided. They confirmed that the reservation exists and that my name has been added as a guest.

Everything looks and sounds legitimate so far, but since this is my first time renting through TUG, I wanted to check if anyone here has worked with him before or has any additional advice.

He currently has these listings active:

• Orange Lake - East Village Listing
• Orange Lake - North Village Listing

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

The name Dan Hamm is aligned with a website called https://capemaypetfriendlyrentals.com/. That website was created May 5, 2023. The phone number 484-614-4468 from the TUG ad matches the phone number on the website. The website also mentions an entity called Beach Shacks, LLC. The state of Pennsylvania has an active entity by that name which was created in 2022. There are other mentions with that number on the internet from other rental ads.

It looks like it should be legit but even if legit I do not know the reputation. A good suggested reading to ensure that you are completely comfortable with the rental is the TUG thread listed below. Good luck.

Thanks for this. He did mention on the phone that he's in the home rental business so this aligns with that. Also, he was able to prove to me that he has active RedWeek listings for his Orange Lake Resort reservations.
