Booked a 1 br at Harborside on the VSE website. Got a Vistana confirmation, e-mailed it to myself as I got no automatic e-mail. Star Options were deducted from my account and reservation does appear on Vistana Dashboard, however confirmation does not show up on Bonvoy website under my Trips and the accounts are linked. I have an upcoming trip to WKV and that is on the Bonvoy site. I just fear I may not actually have a reservation?? Don't want to call and be on hold forever. Does anyone know if this is normal for Harborside reservations?

Thank You

Harborside is not a Bonvoy property and won't show up on Marriott.com. You won't earn nights on the stay either.

It is definitely normal. Harborside is not a Bonvoy participating property. So it will never show on marriott.com. You won't earn ENCs or any Bonvoy points during your stay there.

This may change with Abound integration. I have nothing to base that on though, other than that the Royal, Cove and Coral are already on marriott.com and it's be a good way to monetize the "skim" generated from owner Abound conversions.

Its possible. Its also possible that Harborside never becomes a part of Abound. Only time will tell for sure which way it goes.

It would require an update to the Bonvoy Terms and Conditions as it specifically calls out Harborside as a resort that doesn't participate. Interesting, it does mention Vistana Beach Club (non branded) as a property that does participate.

I have a reservation next month at VBC. It does show on my Bonvoy list of upcoming trips. While Vistana PGA has the Sheraton Vacation Club logo next to it listed in my account as does Sheraton Broadway Resort, Vistana Beach Club has the Marriott Vacation Club logo next to it. All 3 of those were booked with vistana points.

Interesting that Vistana Beach Club has the MVC logo. I suspect they couldn't put a Sheraton logo on it since it isn't a Sheraton. It is kinda the redheaded stepchild... I really don't know what is holding VBC back from just being branded a Sheraton. It doesn't have any more or less amenities than Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort.

It is strange. They should just brand it as a Sheraton and be done with it.

I seem to recall up till a few years ago that there was another non branded VIstana resort. Was it Lakeside Terrace or Mountain Vista? Can't remember exactly. They apparently made it a Sheraton property. I have heard that Vistana Beach Club isn't because they don't have a great pool and not many amenities. Though it isn't any different than PGA and Vistana Beach Club is at least right on the beach.

I know they updated their reservation system a year ago. I am not sure if it was updated to the same system as marriott or not.

Lakeside terrace was rebranded Sheraton Lakeside Terrace at Mountain Vista. I believe it just used to be Lakeside Terrace

A simplified way to look at it is, if it's not a property that you can rent like a regular hotel rrom on marriott.com, it's not going to show up on that website under your Bonvoy account, and it's not going to earn stay credit. There is no way to rent a stay at Harborside on marriott.com so you're just not going to see your stay there.

Interestingly, you do still receive 6x points on Marriott branded credit cards (AMEX at least) from Harborside room charges as they count as "Marriott spend"

That is interesting. Good to know!
