I just got an email from Vistana telling me that there will be a new 8 digit confirmation code which I can use to track my reservation on Bonvoy account...
Is hardborside finally getting into Abound???

Dear Owner,

In connection with our ongoing system consolidation efforts, we wanted to make you aware that you may receive an additional confirmation for a reservation for a future Use Year at your home resort in the next week. Please know that this additional confirmation is due to an internal system migration. This new email confirmation will have a different 8-digit confirmation number, which may be used to view the reservation on your Marriott Bonvoy® account. Again, please know that this additional confirmation you may receive is simply due to the internal system migration, and your home resort reservation is unchanged.

I would think it has to be related to inclusion in Abound. I wonder if they'll also end up changing the Bonvoy terms and conditions so people can get Elite Night Credit?

I actually got one of this this morning, but looks like they need to get their act together. My 2BR (non-lockloff with king, queen, sofa) reservation appears as a lockoff on the Bonvoy confirmation (2 x king + 2 x sofa bed). So now I probably have to make a call to make sure all is well....

(and I did not get the email the OP did in advance of this)

My two 2023 reservation showed up in my Bonvoy app early this morning, then my 2024 reservation showed up just now!
Both reservation actually showed up correctly...

I just got the new email for a 2024 res.

Received a reservation confirmation from Marriott for Harborside at Atlantis

The one thing I found interesting is the benefit of free WiFi as a member of Marriott Bonvoy

Will be interesting to see if the Atlantis/Harborside relationship on WiFi has changed.

Someone is going to have to pay for it and I don't see it being Marriott. Either they will add another $100-150 per 1 br or $200-300 per 2BR units to already very high MF's plus a 20% VAT on top of that or do what they do for the rest of Atlantis, charge a per person per day resort fee when booking through marriott.com and perhaps a mandatory resort fee through interval and Vistana/Abound that includes wifi but since you get wifi through Bonvoy they will award you 500 bonvoy points total per stay as your alternate perk.

I don't think the fee will go away. Instead of being optional it will get bundled in and become mandatory.

I now see Harborside listed as a destination in my Marriott account when I search to book a vacation using my points. Thus, it appears Harborside is now available in abound.

Can any Harborside owners see where they can elect their VOIs for Club Points?

No, those weeks still say "Not Enrolled" in my account.

I can too.

The proposed budget for Harborside will be coming out soon
Will be checking for a new line item for WiFi costs to the owners

I just checked, my fixed week still says "not enrolled" for 2024 and 2025...

I receive a notice that my units are not enrolled.
I do not have the option to enroll the units online.
It says to contact owner services
I am going to wait and see if the system continues to make changes and allows me to enroll online
I will give it a couple of weeks
I am a Marriott owner of an enrolled week, so I already have access to Marriott

The system has progressed to allow me to choose a VOI for conversion to club points online
The system says I will receive 4525 club points for 148,100 star options
The VOI is a 2 Bdrm LO in the platinum season

Your guess was excellent! I was really hoping you were wrong, and they would value it higher, but I am not surprised. My other week is the large 1 bedroom, 51,700 star options, and the conversion is 2025 club points.
Looks like I was off by about 1% in my educated guess of ~1507 points from 13 months ago :)

My 2 HRA weeks still showing as not enrolled, so I can't see how far off I was for those.

My 2 HRA weeks are showing as enrolled this morning :)

2BR nonlockoff Platinum is 3925 Abound points, which is a decent amount in Abound and about $0.58 in MF/point. But I think it's worse for 1BRs and 2BR lockoffs to the point of around $0.75-$0.80/pt.
2BR nonlockoff Gold is 2850 Abound points which is $0.80 MF/point... not great - Most owners should not be electing HRA Gold weeks into Abound if they can rent points from others at $0.70.

Looks like I was off by about 1.6% on those 2BRs when I estimated 13 months ago. Given the 7% "skim" assumption, 1%-2% is a very minor tracking error.

The post in the link describes the general methodology I believe they likely use to allocate points.

What still not ok on my end are the Bonvoy reservations showing these are 2x King and 2x sofa bed, (like lockoffs) because these units have 1x King 1x Queen and 1x Sofa.

@dioxide45 do you own (and still update) this spreadsheet?

Yes, please still update. I added some extra rows for HRA. You will need to input the unit size and some other details that I may not have added as I don't know all the unit types off hand.

Happy to update it with what we know so far but if that's the latest link it's in "comment only" mode - seems locked? Should I ask for Edit access or do you need to unlock it?

In any case, if I'm not mistaken the unit types are:

Phase I AND Phase II have:
1 BR Deluxe
1 BR Premium
2BR Lockoff (1BR Premium + 1BR Deluxe)

Phase II only also has:
2BR Deluxe
3BR Lockoff (2BR Deluxe + 1BR Deluxe)

(I don't believe the phases really matter for point allocations, like they don't matter for Staroptions, so probably no need to separate in the spreadsheet)

What we know so far from the thread here is:

1 BR Deluxe: Gold 1525
1 BR Premium: Gold 2025
2BR Deluxe: Platinum 3925; Gold: 2850

2br lockoff Plat 4,525, or $0.82 mf/point.

2BR Lockoff P1: (says plat on MVC, but I dont' think so, since it's only 95,700 SO) : 3325
it's less than my Gold+ WLR (81k SO) at 3400

2BR Lockoff P1: (says plat on MVC, but I dont' think so, since it's only 95,700 SO) : 3325
it's less than my Gold+ WLR (81k SO) at 3400

Our tug traditional lingo is Platinum, Gold, Silver but for HRA Vistana uses Platinum Plus, Platinum and Gold respectively probably for marketing reasons.

The 95,700 2BR lockoff is more commonly known to us tuggers as Gold.

Similar allocation but the unfortunate thing is that difference in MF/point is probably more like night and day...
