In Nassau for one day on cruise stop with friends, so I booked Harborside for one night to gain access to Atlantis. I believe I've read here years ago that I may check in early and get the wrist bands... any caveats I should know ahead of time? We may arrive around 10am. Thanks.

We arrived around noon. Our room wasn’t ready yet but we were given bracelets right away. That was three years ago though.

Thanks. I doubt I will ever see the room… just want the wrist bands.

We did this for a cruise stop pre pandemic. I think we got to the resort around 9am. No issues checking in and getting wristbands. Be sure that everyone takes ID with them (the should have it anyway). The resort will ask for everyone's names on checkin, though I can't remember if they took copies of passports.

We did the same pre-pandemic. Arrived around 10am, we never saw the room, just picked up wrist bands and took the shuttle over to the water park.

One thing to mention. When you catch a taxi to the resort, it will be packed full of other people. Usually don't have a dedicated taxi just for you. They load up a van full of people headed to Atlantis. Even if you say you are going to Harborside, they will take you to Atlantis. I had to be pretty stern with the driver after they tried to get us to get out at Atlantis and walk over to Harborside. I said we needed to be taken to Harborside directly. Perhaps we could have walked or taken a shuttle over, but that would have taken more time off our day at Atlantis.

You only get a discrete # of wristbands depending on the size of your villa. 4 for a 1BR. 6 for a 2BR. 8 for a 2BR Lockoff.
Make sure you book a big enough villa to get the # of wristbands you need.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. We haven’t decided if we will take a taxi or the water shuttle, which I understand disembarks a block or so away from Harborside.

From the research we did before we went, we learned that land taxi would be faster. Water taxi is a quick ride, but they wait till they pack it full before leaving. So you could be waiting 20 minutes or more for it to be packed to the gills before departing. Land taxi only needs about a dozen or so people before it departs.

We’re not in a rush - this isn’t Disney. I may simply opt for a private taxi for other reasons.
