Hi all

Just starting my research for our first time at Harborside atlantis

Anyone been with kids?

Any hints or tips?

How far is it to atlantis water park and easiest method to get there?

Shuttle or car rental?

THanks!

Harborside is ON the Atlantis property and there is a shuttle .

Most people prearrange for a taxi or shuttle from the airport to the resort - you don't need a car.

Dining out is extremely expensive - consider making a grocery run - some airport transportation will work in a grocery stop for you.

@dioxide45 has a great video on how to get from Harborside to Atlantis and based on what I saw, my conclusion was to take the shuttle. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I used Sandra's taxi for a round trip shuttle from the airport and it included a grocery run on the way to the hotel.

Another transportation option from the airport is Cheryl's.

As for getting around. It is easiest to use the provided shuttle. They are plentiful and come by often. Just look at the bus to see the next stops in its loop. You don't want your destination to be next to last as the next bus could have your stop as the very next one. Sometimes there are a couple busses sitting at Harborside picking people up. Walking is also an option.

Harborside also has a grocery shuttle on Saturday, Sunday and Monday for $12. As noted, food and grocery is expensive in the Bahamas. There is also a small plaza around the corner from Harborside with a great restaurant called Anthony's. Reasonably priced, at least when compared to restaurants at Atlantis. There are also some semi reasonable places in the Marina Village Marketplace. I do have a playlist of videos from Harborside Resort with resort tour and videos about restaurant options in the area.

There is a short walk from the office to the rooms. After you check in, they will use a golf cart to take you and your luggage to the bldg where your room is. Nice pool
there with hot tub and restaurant. All places to eat are pricey. As is just about every tourist spot these days. The Village Burger Shack is good. Marina pizza is also pricey.
Great water park and Aquariums. Enjoy. We are going next month.

There's a stove and microwave and refrigerator, but no oven.
No grills

My kids LOVE it there. can't wait to go back. We didn't leave the property in 6 days- so much to do.
We took the shuttle bus to the waterpark everyday, sometimes walked back- less than a half mile.
We took Sandra's taxi service there with a stop at the grocery store to pick up provisions.

Yes free if you stay at Harborside.
You get 4 wristbands for a 1BR, 6 for a 2BR, 8 for a 2BR lockoff. You need the wristband to use the water park

Thank you so much! I thought we had to buy entry into the water park. So excited now. I'm in California and we are going for my kids spring break. Flights are kinda high right now I can't wait for it to go to the amount google says it should be. Once I book air then I'll really get excited!

Thanks again for all the insight!
