Harborside - Anyone secure a New Years 2025 reservation?

Harborside has had issues in the past of not loading reservation slots on time. But they usually get around to it the following week. I was on at midnight and I never saw it drop on time this year.

Wondering if I just missed it -- did anyone snag a 12/26, 12/27 or 12/28 reservation for 2025?

Not me and I tried each night (12/26, 12/27 and 12/28) and the stroke of midnight for up to 15-20 minutes and no availability at all showed up. Had to cancel my Week 51 2BR Lockoff and couldn't revert back to it after attempting to secure Week 52. I was able to book Week 51 in separate 1BR Premium and 1BR Deluxe reservations, though. Never had this happen before and am highly suspicious of Marriott IT interference with automated scooping up inventory before its available to Home Resort owners during that particular event week.

Thanks but Phase 1 is all fixed weeks so they could be the source of the rentals. Phase 2 (what I own) is all float weeks barring special situations.

We own a Lagunamar fixed event week 51 and could see 2025 week 52 inventory available for Home Resort Usage because it’s Platinum Plus season, but not switching off our week 51. We also own Aventuras but there is no HomeOption 2025 week 52 inventory, or 2026 Week 1 showing, but plenty Westin Cancun down the street showing.

It's pretty obvious to any owner who knows how to use their ownership that there are inventory shenanigans happening. This is also the case with my WSJ Virgin Grand fixed week ownerships, which no longer provide any results during the 10-week float period and haven't for years. But owners are uneducated about their usage rights and assume the search capability is accurate.

I am 100% certain Marriott has been failing to provide owners with their deeded usage rights across a broad spectrum of ownerships. I can't say whether this is intentional or through incompetence, but it doesn't matter. Since they control the HOAs at most of their resorts, they're responsible. They've been stealing usage rights from their owners and have been for years.

I am still seeing some availability for Lagunamar week 52 in 2025. I booked my 1 BR home resort usage on the night the availability opened up. 2024 availability was more spotty IIRC.

These are probably Marriott owned weeks that are given to certain agents that rent. most of these are listings from what some may consider to be Mega Renters or agents. I do know that in the past that Vistana/Marriott or the board had dealings with certain agents to rent the weeks that they owned via foreclosures. So I am sure they are snatching up all of the inventory for themselves so they can be rented out.
