I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone on Tug a Happy New Year! I wish you health and happiness throughout the coming year.

We are a varied and unruly bunch, but we all share a love of travel, vacations, and making the most of our time away. I've never met most of you, but feel like a lot of you are part of my extended family. The cumulative wealth of knowledge you've taught me over the years has led to a tremendous increase in the quality (and number) of my vacations. You have collectively helped increase the value of my world. Thank you, everyone! :clap: :hi: :banana:

Happy New Year to you, Dave, and to all the other posters who so generously share their knowledge and experiences. Timeshares aren't for everyone but they have certainly benefited those of us who have learned to use them to our best advantage. The savings over the hotel rate for our upcoming back-to-back weeks in Scottsdale AZ are about equal to the $2500 we paid for the timeshare we traded, and we have owned it for 20 years as of 2016.
