Get out and see the sites. Pull off at Keiani Penninsula and stop at the only "restaurant" on the Penninsula. If you are lucky they will just have pulled out their banana bread from the oven.

We just finished out last slices today. :bawl:

Waves were mild on our visit but we have seen them splash over the top of the trees on the perimeter. Be careful, don't get washed out and slammed into the lava rock.

Aloha,

Sterling

Are you back home now, Sterling? We just arrived on Maui yesterday. What a traffic jam from the airport to Honokowai. Nightmarish at around 4:00 PM yesterday. It took 1 hour and 25 minutes to get to West Maui from the airport. Not looking forward to that drive again.

Back home again. Amazing how much work piles up when you are away from home.

We drove from Kihei to Kanapali to meet a fellow tugger for lunch. The drive there took 90 minutes. Returned about 130 in the afternoon and it was 35-40 minutes.

Kihei traffic not fun either. If I wanted to drive in miserable traffic I might as well have stayed home. I guess it is a sign the economy is getting better.

Also a sign of this time of year. Traffic is much lighter in November/December (pre-Christmas) than in mid-January/February.
