Half-Points Within 14-Days?

I could swear Wyndham usually has 'half-point' offers when you book inside of 14-days? I am trying to book now for 5/20 Check-In, and don't see where they are giving me half-off? Did this go away--or is it by the Check OUT date?

Only VIPs get automatic discounts on last minute reservations, and those are inside 60 days. For non-VIPs, there are occasional sales (usually longer than 14 days) and the only standing "offer" so to speak would be Bonus Time, where a booking inside 14 days can be paid by cash at $5 per 1,000 points, instead of using points.

Bonus time is only cash purchases. There is no points discounts within 14 days or any days unless either you are a VIP, or if Wyndham is having one of their flash sales, which they sometimes do a couple times a year.

That said, using bonus time is a pretty good deal sometimes.
